Absolute Faith.

Dear readers
Faith originates from heart whenever mind interferes with it, there is bound to be a conflict .Most likely many times faith diminishes because of dominance of logical power of mind over heart.

That is why faith must not be subjected to any reasoning or intellectual trial because the source of faith is entirely different (heart) from the intellect (mind).

This is explicitly illustrated in the following incident of the staunch devotee Purandhare. He had blind faith in Baba and undying love for HIM .He never questioned Baba's dictum and followed whatever Baba directed.

In my one of the earlier post I had given great details about Baba's ardent bhakt R.B Purandhare along with few important pictures .

"I am connected with him for 7 centuries .I will never forget him even if he is far away,"said Baba to his mother on the very first visit to Shirdi in 1909.This is the bond Baba shared with Purandhare..

In the last post I had mentiond in short how his wife was treated by Baba. Here I am giving the complete detail .

Purandare had infinite faith in Baba, and Baba loved him a lot. He had the firm believe Baba will be there to rescue him from every kind of distress ,difficulty or calamity ,he knew that Baba was there to look after them.

Once, his wife suffered from incessant vomiting and diarrhoea from 3.00 AM to 8.00 AM. She had continuous loose stool and vomiting. At 8.00 AM, she became cold and pulse less and went into shock. She had totally given up .

The doctor was summoned who checked her, but was doubtful if she would survive for more than an hour. Purandare was oblivious of this, as he was in the house of a goldsmith, getting a jewel prepared for his niece. When the doctor gave up hope, some one ran from home to fetch him weeping all the way.

On his way home, he passed the Dutta Mandir. This picture I have posted in previous post please read the post to see the photo. There he saw Baba as a Fakir with a Jholi in His hand. The Fakir comforted him and said, "Don't fear for your wife, she will not die. Give her Udi mixed in water and she will recover in an hour. I am guarding all of you". Purandhare was confident of Baba's word and le left for home.

On reaching home Purandare found every one weeping and wailing. He just went and got Baba's Udi and mixing it in water, brought it to his wife's bedside.

Her teeth were clenched, so he had to pry it open with a spoon to administer the Udi (life saving Baba's blessing )Tirth. The rest of the family was dismayed to see this and asked him not to force the Thirth down her throat. Unmindful of their pleas, he administered the Udi Tirth.

Then taking some Udi, he rubbed it all over her body.

He had a bath and performed Puja and offered Naivedya. Then he non-chalantly had his meals without waiting for anybody. The doctor came about one hour later, and found to his surprise that she was recovering. Her body temperature was now normal and her pulse had returned.

Surprised, he asked Purandare what he had given her? Purandare said, "I have given nothing but my Baba's Udi Tirth".

The doctor then gave her some medicines and left. True to His word, his wife did not die but recovered and became healthy.Baba's word were the life saving medicine for Purandhare's wife and His holy UDI the miraculous treatment. It was Baba's love and Purandhare's blind faith on Baba which sailed his wife from life and death situation.
